This procurement presents valuable growth opportunities for businesses in the health and social care sectors, particularly those experienced in service coordination and community engagement. Help and Care, a supplier based in Christchurch with a large enterprise scale, emerged successful in the tender process, signifying a strong alignment with the project requirements for community-focused and quality-driven services. Businesses capable of delivering health-related monitoring, advocacy, and community representation services would find this contract beneficial as it enables them to engage directly with local authorities and individuals within the NHS and social care environment. As the needs for responsive community health services continue to grow, this procurement reinforces the essential role of Healthwatch services as independent consumer champions in health and social care, thus encouraging businesses with expertise in these areas to express interest in future tenders or extensions.
