## Summary

The procurement process for the "Primary Care Regulations Advice & Training Service" was led by NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, a central government public authority. Based in Sunderland, United Kingdom, the board aimed to support the delivery of national priorities with a focus on primary care development. Classified under the health training services category, the procurement involved a direct method below the competition threshold, completing on 14 July 2025, with the contract starting 1 August 2025 and ending 31 July 2026. The awarded contract, valued at £44,400 (gross value £53,280), was granted to the Primary Care Commissioning Community Interest Company, which will deliver the service across North East and Yorkshire, including Cumbria.

This procurement creates opportunities for organisations specialising in health training and development services within the public sector. Businesses equipped to provide structured training events, networking opportunities, and personal development sessions would greatly benefit from such engagements. Large-scale suppliers or those categorized as VCSE can leverage their expertise in virtual networking solutions and specialist advice to enhance their service offerings, thereby potentially expanding their reach within the UK's healthcare sector.
