## Summary

SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATION LIMITED, a sub-central government public authority based in London, has established a Framework Agreement for Total Patient Assessment Device Solutions under the NHS Supply Chain. This wide-ranging procurement covers the UK healthcare sector, including NHS Trusts and other NHS entities, government departments, and private healthcare bodies. The framework, valued approximately at £95,600,000 over four years and structured into five lots, encompasses blood pressure monitoring, thermometer devices, weighing scales, assessment devices, and personal health monitors. The procurement stage is at the award phase, anticipated to generate substantial initial expenditure of up to £25,000,000 in its first year.

The tender opens significant growth opportunities for medical equipment suppliers, particularly SMEs, given the extensive reach and high value of the framework. Businesses specializing in manufacturing or supplying medical devices, such as blood pressure monitors, thermometers, and personal health trackers, will find this framework beneficial. It involves an open procurement method favoring comprehensive market participation, making it advantageous for companies aiming to secure a foothold in the healthcare sector across the United Kingdom. As a framework without competition reopening, awarded suppliers offer a chance for long-term supply partnerships with NHS organisations, supported by obligations to uphold standards such as ISO certifications and modern slavery compliance.
