## Summary

Coventry City Council is actively seeking suppliers for the provision of Supported Accommodation and Floating Support Services for young people aged 16 and above. This tender, titled "COV - Provision of Supported Accommodation and Floating Support Services for Young People aged 16 and above (2026)", falls under the social services with accommodation category, and will be delivered primarily in the Coventry region, UKG33. The procurement process is at the tender stage with a deadline for submissions by the 24th of April, 2026. The intention is to award contracts on the 8th of June, 2026. The open procurement will rely on a competitive flexible procedure, targeting services required under the light-touch regime, with a gross value of approximately £29.52 million. Interested parties are encouraged to register via Coventry City Council's e-procurement portal, CSW-JETS, to access further information and participate in the tender process.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the social work services sector, especially those accredited by Ofsted, to expand their operations in the region. With multiple lots of solo and shared accommodation, as well as floating support units, there is scope for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to compete effectively based on price, quality of service delivery models, implementation plan, and safeguarding measures. The award criteria have been designed to ensure a comprehensive evaluation to promote business growth for providers capable of creating safe, nurturing environments that empower young individuals to develop essential life skills for independent living. Given the diversity of need categories such as low support, complex needs, and support for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, this contract offers a broad scope for engagement with various service specialisations.

## Notice
