## Summary

Nottingham City Council is overseeing the procurement process for a framework agreement titled "CPU7772 - Emergency and/or Temporary Accommodation with Support for the Homeless," aimed at providing solutions to homelessness. The procurement process, under an open procedure, invites multiple suppliers to participate in offering accommodation services supplemented by support for individuals facing homelessness. This initiative falls under the "Health and social work services" industry category and is primarily focused within the East Midlands area, including Nottingham (UKF14), Derbyshire (UKF16), and the surrounding regions. Notably, the procurement cycle began with planning in June 2025 and has progressed through tender and award stages, culminating in contract agreements with various suppliers. Key dates include the contract start on 1 January 2026, extending potentially to 31 December 2033, fostering long-term service delivery in alignment with Nottingham’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Prevention Strategy 2025–2030.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in housing and support services, particularly those experienced in handling homelessness and vulnerable groups. Nottingham City Council’s framework adjusts to accommodate new suppliers, ensuring competitive collaboration and expansion capabilities for involved businesses. Both SMEs and larger organisations, such as 9 Property Group Limited, Centennial Property Limited, and Nottingham Community Housing Association Limited, among others, have been acknowledged as suppliers capable of meeting the council’s requirements, illustrating that diverse business scales can thrive under this framework. This initiative not only fosters community support and integration but also presents pathways for businesses to enhance service offerings, innovate in social work practices, and expand into new housing markets within the framework’s extensive locality coverage.
