## Notice

The procurement of the operation of Group Travel & Shoppers Services in the local authority areas of Tyne and Wear with effect from 12th September 2025. The contracts will be let and operate between 12th September 2025 to 12th September 2027. There is an option to extend for a further two years, to be reviewed annually. Services provided will operate to specified timetables. Vehicles used in the performance of this Contract will be fully licensed as a Public Service Vehicle (PCV) or a Community Transport vehicle, licenced under Section 19 of the Transport Act, 1985 (CT). They will also be compliant with the terms of the Equality Act 2010. Vehicles will have a minimum 16 seats and be capable of being configured to carry a minimum of two wheelchairs with a minimum of eight seated passengers.
