## Summary

The NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board is in the planning stage of procuring services for a COVID Medicines Delivery Unit. This procurement falls under the health services category, specifically medical practice services, with the primary location being in the Black Country region of the UK (UKG3), including Wolverhampton (UKG39). The process aims to seek expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers by 4th July 2025 for a contract to be potentially awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract could have a duration of three years with an extension option of up to two years, with a projected annual value of £32,750. Stakeholders can expect a future notice around 1st August 2025, facilitating continued market engagement.

This tender provides a significant opportunity for businesses in the healthcare sector, particularly those specialising in medical practice and management of infectious diseases. Services that help in decreasing hospital admissions and handling COVID-19 cases within community settings are critical, and providers experienced in these areas would be well-suited to apply. The contracted service would enable these businesses to leverage their expertise in healthcare delivery, potentially leading to expanded roles and increased brand reputation as pivotal partners in public health initiatives. Engaging in such a tender not only provides financial avenues but also fosters a collaborative environment with the NHS, aligning businesses with critical health service goals and patient care outcomes.
