## Summary

The University of York has completed the procurement process for the provision of online coaching services for their On Track programme, with a focus on careers and employability coaching. The process was conducted through an open competition below the threshold, resulting in the award of a contract to Inclusive Futures Coaching CIC. The contract, valued at £73,440, commenced on 3rd October 2025 and is scheduled to run until 2nd October 2027, with the possibility of two additional 12-month extensions. Services will be delivered mainly in York, targeting careers coaching for university students or early career professionals. This procurement initiative was carried out under the legal framework of the UKPGA 2023/54 and is now in the award stage, having been finalised on 3rd November 2025.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for coaching service providers to engage with a reputable academic institution and expand their business in the educational sector. Suitable businesses for this contract typically include coaching firms with expertise in delivering one-to-one coaching sessions, particularly those familiar with the university student demographic or social mobility initiatives. With the potential for renewal and additional options such as support for creating online resources, this contract offers providers the chance to broaden their service offerings and establish a long-term partnership with the University of York.

## Notice

The University of York is pleased to invite tenders for the provision of online coaching services for our On Track programme - specifically careers and employability coaching. We are seeking tenders from third-party coaching providers with demonstrable experience of delivering one-to-one coaching, ideally to undergraduate university students or early career professionals and/or within a social mobility context. The successful provider will be required to deliver upto 450 one-hour careers coaching sessions during an academic year (September to June), therefore it is expected that providers will have a pool of qualified and suitably experienced coaching staff to ensure sufficient capacity. Tenderers must be capable of providing the minimum services required by the University - please download the tender pack on In-Tend for further details.
