## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent has awarded contracts for Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Services (ISVA) and Sexual Assault & Abuse Therapeutic Services. The procurement process, conducted using an open procedure, addresses community health services and aims to support victims of sexual assault and abuse across Kent and Medway. The contracts were awarded on 27th November 2025, with the standstill period ending on 11th December 2025. The services are scheduled to commence on 1st April 2026 and may extend until 31st March 2033, providing opportunities for renewal. The procurement targets service provision for wide-ranging demographics, ensuring accessibility regardless of age, gender, or the nature of the assault.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in community health services, counselling, and guidance services. Companies with expertise in trauma-informed care or evidence-based delivery models are well-suited to bid for similar tenders in the future. Organisations that can offer inclusive, independent, and accessible services to vulnerable populations, including children and adults, will find scope for growth and contribution to public safety. The procurement method encourages participation from SMEs and VCSEs, promoting a diverse and competitive environment for service provision. Additionally, possibilities for contract renewals and options for funding during the contract period indicate potential long-term business stability and expansion.
