## Summary

Nottingham City Council is conducting a procurement process titled "Supply of Building Materials" aimed at establishing a multi-lot Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of essential building materials to maintain its housing stock. This procurement, categorised under goods and using an open procedure, covers a wide range of items from timber to electrical and plumbing components. Although initially active, the tender for the framework, identified as CPU 7366, was marked complete with the cancellation notice published on 16 March 2026, following clarifications needing a review. Approved suppliers will be responsible for ensuring high-quality material supply across Nottingham, with a potential start date for some lots set to commence from 5 May 2026, lasting until May 2030.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in manufacturing or supplying building materials, complying with UK building regulations. Given the expansive scope—ranging from timber and heavy materials to architectural coatings and plumbing—businesses capable of fulfilling these requirements either directly or via a consortium are well-positioned to benefit. The framework agreement provides scope for price stability and potential annual adjustments, incentivising suppliers through criteria heavily weighted towards price and quality, including considerations for social value. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate. Successful tenderers will have recurring opportunities for supplying additional quantities over the contract period, fostering business growth in Nottingham and its environs.
