The procurement process is anticipated to progress further with notices expected by 22nd September 2025, in accordance with the principles of the General Procurement Agreement (GPA).

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses involved in ship design and construction, particularly those experienced with marine patrol and research vessels. Companies with expertise in collaborating with governmental bodies and an understanding of marine compliance and design standards will find this project aligns well with their capabilities. Additionally, businesses proficient in creating detailed designs that meet classification society and flag state authority requirements could benefit greatly from participating in this emerging procurement process.
