## Summary

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is currently in the tender stage for a framework agreement aimed at the provision of Tuition Services in London. This procurement process is focused on delivering education and training services to support vulnerable children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities. The current tender involves different lots tailored to varying needs, ranging from Universal Tuition to Complex and Medical Tuition. Interested parties must submit their tenders by 12 January 2026, with the framework's award expected by 3 March 2026. The procurement method follows a competitive flexible procedure, encompassing stages for evaluation based on quality and price. This initiative is covered by GPA regulations and targets service delivery to the UKI51 region, potentially involving other local authorities and academy trusts.

This tender opens numerous opportunities for businesses specialising in education and training services, particularly those experienced in providing bespoke tuition solutions for complex needs. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) will find this framework particularly advantageous due to the emphasis on flexible, high-quality educational provisions. Businesses with expertise in SEND, SEMH, and innovative teaching methods are well-suited to participate. Additionally, this framework supports business growth through potential extensions and allows new providers entry after initial terms, fostering collaboration and competition in delivering critical educational services. Successful entry may serve as a gateway for expanding service offerings and strengthening partnerships within the public education sector.
