## Summary

Bristol City Council is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the maintenance and supply of Metrobus iPoints throughout the Bristol region. This initiative, focused on services related to transport equipment and auxiliary products, aims to engage with the market ahead of the contract expiration in October 2026. The soft market testing phase is scheduled with a submission deadline on 25th July 2025. The Council seeks interest from businesses equipped to adopt and maintain the existing network of 91 iPoint units, adhering to the Procurement Act 2023 and specific procurement rules laid out by the Council.

This tender provides considerable growth opportunities for businesses specialising in ticket-validation and ticket-issuing machines, point of sale software, and real-time passenger information systems. SMEs are particularly encouraged to participate, as the contract is suitable for small to medium-sized enterprises.
