## Summary

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has awarded the Geospatial Enabling Programme Delivery Partner contract to Informed Solutions Limited. This contract, aimed at resolving user issues in geospatial data usage, was concluded under the Crown Commercial Services Dynamic Purchasing System Framework NW2.1 for Space Enabled and Geospatial Services, in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. It involves data management services classified under CPV code 72322000. The contract, valued at approximately £10,361,050, is primarily for the UK region, with evaluations conducted in August 2025 and the contract signed on 29 September 2025. The procurement process followed an open procedure with options for extensions.

This procurement project presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in geospatial data and related services. As Informed Solutions Ltd. has been awarded the contract, other geospatial specialists, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), might find subcontracting opportunities. Engaging in such a significant government contract can provide valuable experience and increase visibility within the industry. Businesses proficient in developing data management services, drone surveillance, AI technology, and innovative land-use mapping are especially well-suited to contribute to this initiative and drive further growth through associated opportunities within Defra's larger geospatial and environmental programmes.
