## Summary

Nottinghamshire and City of Nottingham Fire Authority is embarking on a procurement process for a Compartment Fire Behaviour Unit and associated building works located in Nottingham, United Kingdom. This initiative, currently in the planning stage, involves pre-market engagement activities set to culminate in a future notice deadline by 18th July 2025. The contract period is slated to begin on 1st September 2025 and may extend until 31st March 2026. This project falls under the work category, targeting the firefighting, rescue and safety equipment sector, with an estimated gross value of £540,000.

This tender presents promising opportunities for businesses specialising in construction work, firefighting equipment, and container modification. The acquisition of a repurposed 40ft shipping container for specialised fire behaviour training and related infrastructure works positions this contract as ideal for firms with expertise in construction and installation of firefighting systems. Firms capable of handling mechanical and electrical tasks, along with concrete foundations and drainage systems, can leverage this opportunity for growth by collaborating with a public authority within the sub-central government framework.
