## Summary

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is initiating a planning stage for a National Framework Agreement for Audiology Patient Management Systems. This procurement process aims to develop a comprehensive platform for managing audiology services, integrating appointment and clinical management processes across multiple UK clinical sites, including regions such as Guernsey, Isle of Man, and Jersey. The procurement falls within the software package and information systems industry category, and interested suppliers are invited to participate in preliminary market engagement by 21st July 2025. The framework is intended to commence from 11th October 2025 and continue until 10th October 2029, with a gross estimated contract value of £18 million GBP. Future notices are anticipated around 31st July 2025.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare software packages and systems. The framework targets NHS Audiology and ENT departments, demanding not only the provision of the management system but also ongoing support and maintenance, making it an ideal contract for firms offering robust software solutions and services. Small and medium-sized enterprises, noted for their agility and innovation, are encouraged to engage with the preliminary market consultation, as the procurement process is suitable for them. Participating in this tender could open pathways to establish long-term cooperation with public healthcare entities in the UK and adjacent regions.

## Notice

An audiology patient management system creates an integrated platform for both appointment management and clinical processes such as audiometry and hearing aid fitting and is therefore integral to the provision of Audiology services at multiple clinical sites. The objective of this framework is to provide Public Sector Organisations with a compliant route to contract for a specialist Audiology Patient Management System, along with all associated and support services. The Audiology Patient Management System will be used by NHS Audiology departments and services, and related NHS services such as Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) departments. The System supports the ability to manage all aspects of daily patient flow and general departmental management. Ongoing software support and maintenance is also required, including for systems previously installed. The purpose of this engagement notice is to invite suppliers to participate in preliminary market engagement with a view to developing the authority's requirements and preparing tender documents.
