## Summary

Leidos Supply, Limited, acting on behalf of the UK's Ministry of Defence (MOD), is in the planning stage for the procurement process titled "The Supply & Support of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) C1A." This initiative focuses on the provision and support of the AED C1A model, including consumables and spare parts. The procurement falls under the category of medical equipment and is associated with the defence and security sector. This process is conducted with the involvement of TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited, supporting various stages of evaluation. Located in Bristol, the procurement aims to collect market intelligence to better shape strategy before a deadline of 5th September 2025, with anticipated contract periods starting from February 2026. The procurement not only offers opportunities to engage with central government but also seeks innovative approaches to fulfil the requirement with best value outcomes.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, especially SMEs, in the fields of medical equipment supply, logistics, and inventory management, to expand their portfolios by engaging in a high-value government contract. Companies with innovative solutions or competitive offerings in the supply and support of defibrillator equipment are well-suited to partake, given the procurement's emphasis on innovation and market insights. Participation will not only offer valuable industry exposure but also a chance to influence the strategic direction of the defence supply ecosystem through collaboration with Team Leidos. This initiative signals an opportunity for market players to bolster their government contracting business presence.
