## Summary

City & County of Swansea has completed the procurement process for the provision of tenancy-based care and support services focused on supported living for individuals with mental health needs. This public procurement, under the open procedure, resulted in a framework agreement divided into three lots offering distinct service arrangements. The process aimed at engaging various suppliers to enhance service efficacy, and it covered social work and related services in the UKL18 region, serving locations within Swansea. Key dates included the award announcement on 17th March 2026, with services expected to commence on 1st April 2026 and potentially extend up to 2036, allowing for adaptations to changing service demands.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in mental health care services, especially those offering specialised supported living solutions. Large organisations and SMEs alike can partake, expanding service capabilities by integrating with Swansea Council's strategic framework. Suppliers such as social enterprises and VCSEs are particularly suited to compete, given the procurement's focus on inclusivity in service delivery. The framework's flexibility in service demand ensures a dynamic environment for innovative care solutions, fostering partnership and long-term collaboration with local authorities and health boards throughout Swansea and its surrounding areas.
