## Summary

The East Of England NHS Collaborative Hub, operating through the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, recently completed a procurement process for roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services, awarding contracts to multiple suppliers on a regional basis across the United Kingdom, including areas such as London, the East of England, and the North-West. This open competition procurement, valued at £14 million, operates under the framework agreement method, ensuring services for NHS operational vehicles. The procurement stage is complete, with the contractual period starting from 1st June 2026 and lasting until 30th April 2028, with potential extensions until April 2030. Key stakeholders include significant industry players like Ashley Wood Recovery and Elite Specialist Recovery Ltd.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses in the vehicle recovery industry, especially those with the capacity to deliver region-specific services. SMEs like Boleyn Recovery & Fleet Services Ltd, involved in the contract award, exemplify the potential for smaller firms to expand their operations through government contracts. Companies aiming to secure public sector contracts, particularly those within the automotive and logistics industries, stand to benefit significantly from this framework, which allocates work over 13 separate contracts. Such involvement provides a stable revenue stream and enhances business credibility through a partnership with a renowned public authority.
