## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioners for Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire are in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Key Cabinets." This initiative aims to source a supplier for Intelligent Key Management Cabinets with integrated software systems. The requirement involves 37 cabinets spread over several police sites in the respective regions. The procurement falls under the 'goods' category and is valued at a gross amount of £336,000. The deadline to express interest in this project is set for 22nd July 2025. The forthcoming tender will be communicated on 1st August 2025, and the contract period is projected to run from 3rd November 2025 to 31st October 2028, with possible extensions up to 2030. This project employs competitive tendering, utilising an e-tendering platform to facilitate the process.

This tender represents a strategic opportunity for businesses specialising in key management solutions, software integration, and security equipment installation. Vendors with a background in providing storage and content management solutions and SMEs can compete for a chance to supply directly to sub-central government authorities.
