## Summary

The public procurement contracting process for the "LEVI Tranche 1 - Residential On-Street Charging Solutions" project, initiated by Warrington Borough Council, has reached the award stage as of 6th March 2026. This project, supported by the Local EV Infrastructure scheme, aims to enhance access to electric vehicle chargepoints across Warrington, specifically in areas lacking off-street parking. The procurement has adhered to an open procedure with a specific focus on the concession special regime, further evidenced by the involvement of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The contract, valued at up to £7,200,000, will commence on 1st May 2026, lasting until 30th April 2041, with potential renewal by mutual agreement. This initiative aligns closely with the council’s Electric Vehicle Strategy, providing strategic growth opportunities for businesses specialising in electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

This procurement opens a significant avenue for business growth, particularly appealing to companies involved in supplying, installing, and managing electric vehicle charging solutions. The tender, having attracted various SMEs like Believ Limited, COSTELLOES LTD, and CONNECTED KERB LIMITED, indicates substantial interest and competitiveness within this market. Companies with a focus on consultancy, software development, or customer support in electric vehicle infrastructure will find robust opportunities to expand their footprint in the public sector. With the requirement for comprehensive solutions spanning installation to operations and back-office support, businesses capable of delivering end-to-end services are particularly well-suited to bring innovative solutions to this contract. This project not only promises revenue through direct service provision but also fosters long-term partnerships and recognition in a growing industry aimed at promoting sustainable transportation.

## Notice
