## Summary

The Forestry Commission, through Forestry England, is managing a Building Compliance Framework procurement, aiming to establish framework agreements for essential building compliance services across the United Kingdom. This extensive project involves numerous compliance areas including Electrical, Fire Safety, Legionella, Asbestos, and Water Supplies, delivered through multiple lots. The open tender process, initiated on 16th July 2025, successfully progressed to the award stage as of 21st November 2025. Contracts are scheduled to commence on 5th December 2025 and conclude on 4th December 2029, creating significant opportunities within the public authority sub-central government category.

This procurement presents lucrative opportunities for businesses, specifically small and medium enterprises (SMEs), given the division of requirements into manageable lots. Firms specialising in electrical services, health and safety consultancy, asbestos removal, and water supply management are particularly well-suited to benefit. These contracts not only offer steady revenue streams over a multi-year period but also enhance business profiles through association with a reputable, national public body. The open procedure adopted for this tender ensures that competitive enterprises have fair access to participate and secure their position within this comprehensive compliance framework.
