The tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses in the health sector, particularly those specialising in mental health services, to expand their reach and strengthen their market presence. The requirement for qualified assessors to carry out mental capacity, mental health, and eligibility assessments aligns with businesses that can demonstrate quality, innovation, integration, and collaboration in service provision. While addressing the statutory requirements and supporting NHS provisions, businesses that can deliver value while minimising environmental impact through reduced travel time will have a competitive edge. The Supplier Selection Process is designed to foster a broader pool of providers, encouraging diverse participation from firms prepared to meet the outlined obligations and enhance social value.
