## Summary

The contracting process involves the NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board, located in Windsor, awarding a contract to Sussex Community Dermatology Ltd for consultant-led dermatology services, categorised under health services, and is intended to enhance community healthcare. This award is a result of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR), specific to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The procurement method used was a limited, direct award without prior publication, thus excluding the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The contract officially commences on 1 August 2025 with an initial duration of 12 months and a potential extension of up to another 12 months.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in dermatology services, particularly those capable of improving community healthcare provision. With the emphasis on patient choice, quality service, and education for healthcare providers, businesses able to integrate seamlessly with local services and improve primary care dermatology can benefit greatly. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the healthcare sector would find this a ripe opportunity to expand their service offerings and establish themselves within the community healthcare landscape.
