## Summary

Raunds Town Council is seeking to procure a contractor for the design, supply, installation, maintenance, removal, and storage of festive Christmas lighting displays throughout Raunds town centre. The procurement falls under the industry categories of Christmas tree lights, lighting systems, electrical installation work, and commissioning of public lighting installations. The contract term is for either 2026–2028 or 2026–2030. This tender is currently in the tender update stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 12th September 2025. The procurement method is an open procedure, and the location is specified within the UK, particularly in regions UKF and UKH. The estimated contract value is £26,500 gross, with submissions made via email.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for companies capable of providing comprehensive festive lighting services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in design and electrical installations, particularly those experienced with public sector projects, are particularly well-suited to participate. The contract evaluation will focus on cost-effectiveness, methodology, project delivery, and relevant experience, encouraging businesses to showcase their innovative lighting solutions and logistical capabilities. With requirements including the supply and rental of lighting displays, onsite emergency repairs, and safety compliance, businesses that demonstrate robust safety standards and efficient project management will likely hold a competitive edge.
