## Summary

The procurement process revolves around the creation of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to support Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA) for NHS Scotland. Managed by The Common Services Agency, known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), this tender is categorised under the electricity sector. It serves all NHS Scotland sites, located in the UKM region, with a focus on promoting renewable energy. The procurement stage is currently active, operating within a tender framework. Key dates include the submission deadline on 5th September 2025, with the initiation of contract calls from 8th September 2025. This selective procurement is conducted under a restricted procedure, requiring electronic submissions as outlined in the procurement documents.

Participation in this DPS represents a significant business growth opportunity, especially for suppliers in the renewable energy sector. This tender allows suppliers to compete for substantial contracts worth up to £140 million, catering to NHS Scotland's sustainability goals. Suitable candidates are those who meet the demanding technical and economic criteria set out in the pre-qualification questionnaire. Companies focusing on electricity, specifically those capable of fulfilling CPPA over various timeframes (3-10+ years), are invited to join. This scheme enhances market opportunities by providing potential extensions and fostering innovation in renewable energy solutions in alignment with NHS Scotland’s decarbonisation targets.

## Notice

The development of Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA) presents a significant opportunity for NHS Scotland to procure renewable energy solutions in order to meet our sustainability goals in the decarbonisation of our NHSS estate. To support this transition to renewable energy sources, the Authority has set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This notice will allow suppliers not on the DPS to submit an application to be evaluated to get on the DPS.
