## Summary

The Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Womens Secure Transitional Pathway". This process is classified under the miscellaneous health services industry category and involves the tendering of services. The focus is on providers who can deliver accommodation and non-clinical support for patients transitioning from secure care to community living, specifically in central Birmingham (region UKG3). The procurement follows the Provider Selection Regime, utilising the Most Suitable Provider Process as prescribed by the Health Care Services Regulations 2023. Key dates include a future notice slated for 8th September 2025. The Trust's Sustainability Board will review and approve final decisions upon completion of the full process.

This procurement presents a notable opportunity for businesses specialising in health services provision, particularly those experienced in supporting vulnerable groups with accommodation and life skills development in community settings. The emphasis on independent living, alongside enrichment activities, suits businesses that offer holistic and integrative support services. Companies with resources located in central Birmingham, preferably connected with a women-focused resource centre, would find this tender aligns well with their facilities. Firms capable of working collaboratively with BSMHFT's multidisciplinary teams to foster patient rehabilitation and community integration would be ideally positioned to compete for this contract.
