## Summary

This public procurement process, managed by the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership-Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, is at the planning stage and focuses on acquiring a Simulated Phishing Tool. The tender titled "RFA1593 - Phishing Campaigns" is slated to support the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. This service falls within the industry category of "Training and simulation in security equipment." The engagement phase is scheduled, with expressions of interest due by 23 August 2025. Supplier demonstration days are expected in September 2025, with the contract period running from April 2026 to April 2027 in the UK region. The procurement process follows Welsh devolved regulations and is designed to attract small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The contact point for the process is Kerri Emms, reachable via email.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, especially for SMEs capable of providing a scalable, cost-effective phishing simulation tool that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. Ideal candidates should offer customizable training modules and comprehensive analytics for tracking performance and identifying high-risk users and departments. The focus on automated campaign deployment and multilingual support adds layers of complexity that innovative tech firms can leverage to enhance their solutions’ marketability. Companies specialised in realistic security training tools with robust technical support mechanisms would particularly benefit from participating in this procurement process, thus expanding their footprint in the cybersecurity and simulation training sectors.
