## Summary

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is planning a procurement process for the provision of driver welfare facilities across the Bee Network, a project aimed at supporting bus drivers and other frontline staff within the Greater Manchester area. This process is currently in the planning stage, with a preliminary market engagement scheduled to close by 4 PM on 29th August 2025. Potential suppliers are invited to engage via the ProContract procurement portal, with the tender titled "TfGM Driver Welfare Facilities" focusing on services in the bathrooms construction work and support services for road transport categories. The total estimated contract value is £2,400,000, with a procurement communication update anticipated by 22nd September 2025.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in construction services and road transport support to expand their market presence. Small and medium-sized enterprises, in particular, can benefit from this project, as the procurement is structured to be inclusive and suitable for their participation. The requirement entails setting up 15-20 facilities strategically located throughout Greater Manchester, offering an excellent avenue for businesses to establish strong ties within the region. This initiative aligns well with suppliers capable of delivering quality infrastructure and support services, ideally positioned to contribute to the growing public transport network in the area.
