## Summary

Nottingham City Council is currently seeking proposals for the "CPU 7040 Fleet Services Management Software System" through an open competitive flexible procedure. This tender is in the procurement stage and falls under the services category, specifically involving IT services and vehicle-fleet-support services. The procurement process is aimed at implementing a comprehensive Fleet Management System to efficiently manage fleet assets and operations for the council. The system is expected to be a secure, cloud-hosted platform. The key dates include an enquiry period ending on 15th September 2025, with the tender period closing on 24th September 2025. This tender presents significant opportunities for IT service providers and businesses specialising in fleet management solutions to engage with Nottingham City Council. The requirement for a robust Fleet Management System necessitates strong capabilities in system functionality, workshop operations, and integrations, among others. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to consider this opportunity, as the tender is SME-friendly and involves a comprehensive procedure with several stages, including negotiation and product demonstrations, offering ample scope for showcasing tailored solutions. Successful businesses can benefit from a contract period extending up to 2032 with renewal options, providing stability and potential growth avenues within the public sector.

## Notice

The supplier shall be responsible for the provision, implementation, support, and maintenance of a comprehensive Fleet Management System (FMS) to replace the Council's existing solution. The system must support the full lifecycle management of fleet assets and be delivered as a secure, cloud-hosted, web-based platform. The Authority's Fleet Management System (FMS) is used to manage all our fleet vehicles and assets as well as some externally owned assets, allowing us to schedule and control periodic maintenance and inspections, plan maintenance events, manage unplanned maintenance repairs and provide a full audit trail. The system also controls jobs in our three workshops, including raising job cards, recording hours works by technicians and parts used, meaning NCC are looking for a workshop centric system.
