## Summary

The Science Museum Group in London is seeking to commission interactive exhibit makers for a Eurovision exhibition titled "Eurovision exhibition – Digital Interactives," associated with the 70th broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2026. The tender process, initiated on 20th August 2025, is at the Tender stage, with two lots available: LOT A - "Get Set game" and LOT B - "Performance Space." The procurement concerns the services industry, specifically museum-exhibition services. Interested suppliers have until 22nd September 2025 to submit proposals via the designated online platform. The total gross contract value is estimated at £50,400, with the procurement conducted as an open competition under the "Below threshold - open" classification.

This tender provides an excellent opportunity for SMEs involved in interactive exhibit design and production to expand their business footprint within the cultural and entertainment sector. Given the experiential nature of the exhibits and their focus on combining technology with entertainment, companies with strengths in digital interactives, audio-visual production, or museum services would be particularly well-suited to compete. By bidding on one or both lots, businesses can leverage creative capabilities to explore collaborative potential with a prestigious institution, positioning themselves at the intersection of technology, culture, and public engagement at a high-profile event.

## Notice

Launching to coincide with the 70th broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2026, the Eurovision exhibition and events programme will showcase the science and technology needed to make a live global broadcast possible. The exhibition will be experiential, offering high quality, fun interactives alongside iconic Eurovision media, offering a taste of the glamour and excitement of the competition. This will be combined with objects from our BBC heritage collection, as well as loans from key partners and Eurovision superfans. We will also hear from contestants themselves about their journey to the iconic competition and their experiences competing, from fans and social media influencers about why they love the competition so much, and the army of invisible backstage workers who make the magic happen every year. We are seeking interactive exhibit maker(s) to create our two interactives for the exhibition. Suppliers can bid for one or both of these lots. a) LOT A: Get Set game - visitors step into the shoes of the Eurovision Song Contest stage crew, using technology to set up the props for a star performance in super-fast time. b) LOT B: Performance Space - the audio and visuals in this space will make visitors the stars of the show, singing and dance along with iconic performances from Eurovision.
