## Summary

The London Borough of Redbridge has initiated a public procurement process to seek one or two providers for the "Provision of a Business Start-up Enterprise Support Programme." This invitation to tender, classified under the industry categories of "Education and training services" and "Business services," aims to support economically inactive residents within the UK, specifically in the regions of Ilford and greater London. The procurement process is currently at the "tender" stage, with critical deadlines, including the enquiry period ending on 15th September 2025 and the tender submission closing on 22nd September 2025. The procurement adopts an open procedure, inviting bids for two distinct lots, each with specified contract periods and potential renewal options extending to 31st March 2027.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in business consultancy, mentoring, and AI-driven solutions. Suitable for SMEs and VCSEs, the programme seeks to deliver tailored business start-up advice and practical tools fostering entrepreneurship among residents furthest from the labour market. With a total gross contract value of over £1.42 million, businesses excelling in delivering innovative, quality-driven services in line with the criteria outlined—such as recruitment, engagement, and social value—are well-positioned to compete and secure a partnership. The flexible, multi-lot structure offers local businesses a chance to leverage their expertise across multiple boroughs, enhancing their market presence and growth potential.
