## Summary

The University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, acting as the contracting authority, has currently paused their procurement process for the Enterprise Network Replacement Programme due to funding review. Initially, suppliers were invited to tender before the deadline of 24th September under Regulation 48(5) as a Further Competition within the CCS Network Services 3 Framework, specifically Lot 2a. This procurement, with an estimated value of £24,500,000, focuses on local area network services to enhance digital healthcare services in the UK, with the anticipated contract starting on 1st April 2026. Interested vendors must have been registered on the CCS Network Services 3 Framework and the BWPC SAP Ariba platform to participate. The procurement method is selective, under a restricted procedure that maintains high transparency and security standards.

The tender offers substantial opportunities for growth for businesses specialising in network design, deployment, and lifecycle support, ensuring network resilience, security, and scalability. Given its strategic importance to the Trust’s five-year digital agenda, this venture is ideal for firms equipped to support digital transformations within healthcare settings, providing high-availability connectivity and robust support frameworks. Companies with proven capabilities in delivering managed network services and a history of compliance with the CCS Network Services 3 Framework requirements would be particularly well-suited to this opportunity, aligning with the strategic objectives of advancing healthcare infrastructure and patient care outcomes within the NHS Trusts.
