## Summary

The procurement process for the Building Management System has been initiated by The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, alongside The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent. This opportunity is classified within the services category, specifically involving energy and related services, building and facilities management, and software packages for facility management. The process is currently in the planning stage and centred in the regions of Essex and Kent in the United Kingdom. Business entities interested in this tender must register their interest by providing detailed responses concerning their experience and capabilities in servicing specific BMS control systems, with a deadline for initial engagement set for 10th September 2025.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in building management systems, energy management, and related services. The need for swift service response times across Essex and Kent signals potential work volume, making it ideal for companies with efficient operation models, possibly favouring SMEs due to suitability requirements. The contract offers a chance for ongoing engagement, with a potential renewal extending up to 2033, facilitating sustained business relationships with public authorities and expanding service portfolios within the public sector. Additionally, firms adept in handling both YORK BMS and Trend BMS control systems will find themselves well-positioned to meet the requirements set forth by the commissioning authorities.
