## Summary

The London Borough of Enfield, acting as the contracting authority, has successfully completed the procurement for the Enfield Connect to Work Programme, awarding the contract to Working Well Trust, a small-scale, voluntary, and community-based organisation. This programme, classified under the Light Touch regime, is focused on job search services aimed at supporting residents with health conditions and disabilities into employment. The contract commenced on 5 January 2026, for an initial period lasting until 31 March 2030, with options for a 12-month extension depending on performance and funding. The procurement was conducted via a direct award process, as justified by technical reasons, and aligns with the Procurement Act 2023. The programme is primarily located in the UKI54 region, covering Enfield, United Kingdom.

The Enfield Connect to Work Programme represents a significant opportunity for enterprises involved in health and employment services, especially those specialising in Integrated Personal Support (IPS) models. Businesses capable of delivering comprehensive, personalised employment support in collaboration with health services stand to benefit from this initiative. Organisations that can demonstrate technical expertise and a track history of successful integration with local health resources, like Working Well Trust, are particularly well-suited to compete for similar contracts. The programme promises extensive growth by tackling local unemployment among disabled residents and is part of a broader strategy for inclusive economic development within the London Borough of Enfield.
