## Summary

Cambridgeshire County Council, located in Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, UK, recently completed the procurement process for '25041 Provision of Estock for Cambridgeshire County Council Library Service.' This involves enhancing the library offer by procuring eLending services to provide a wide range of eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and eNewspapers, for the residents of Cambridgeshire. The open procurement method was employed, divided into four lots. Key dates include the award notice published on 19th March 2026, with contracts starting from 1st April 2026, running until 31st March 2029, and the possibility of renewal for an additional 12 months. The procurement falls under services in the UKH12 region and is geared towards public sector and digital content provision.

This tender provides substantial opportunities for providers in digital content and library service sectors, offering the chance to deliver innovative digital solutions supported by both website and app platforms. Ideal businesses are those with expertise in digital library services, and SMEs will find this particularly attractive due to the contracts being awarded to companies like OverDrive Global Ltd., Bolinda UK Ltd., and Ulverscroft Limited. With a focus on accessibility and efficiency, businesses providing digital content and user-friendly platforms for library services can expand their reach in the public sector. The inclusion of a possible extension to include Large print and spoken word services reflects potential future growth areas for providers.
