## Summary

The Corporation of Trinity House is in the planning stage of a public procurement process for the "Bi-GLA Marine Lantern Framework Agreement," primarily targeting the goods industry category. The organisation's address is Tower Hill, Trinity Square, London, UK, and it serves as the buyer in this process. The framework aims to establish a supply chain for marine lanterns and can also involve the Northern Lighthouse Board during evaluations. This framework, valued at £724,000 net, covers regions within the United Kingdom and will commence on 22nd December 2025, lasting three years with a potential 12-month extension. Suppliers are encouraged to engage by 12th September 2025 to receive samples and specifications, with future communication expected by 22nd September 2025.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for suppliers specialising in lantern manufacturing, particularly those adhering to IALA standard requirements for marine navigation aids. Businesses that can offer a wide range of lantern sizes, colours, and adaptability will find this contract conducive to growth. The procurement process offers a pathway to establish a long-term partnership with both Trinity House and the Northern Lighthouse Board, making it ideal for companies with a track record of large-scale public sector work in the maritime industry. Establishing a reliable supply chain under this framework can significantly expand business horizons while contributing to essential public services.

## Notice

Trinity House are running this procurement to create a framework for the supply of marine lanterns, with a clause to allow the Northern Lighthouse Board to utilise the framework agreement, and to participate in evaluation. The units must meet IALA standards for chromaticity regions for all required colours. A link to the IALA website (below), can be used to indicate our potential requirements.
