## Summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is initiating a multi-lot Framework Agreement for Furniture Removal, Storage, Design and Move Management services, classified under CPV code 63120000. The procurement is at the Tender stage and is valued at approximately £4,390,000. The framework agreement begins in May 2026 and will last four years without extension. Vendors can tender for up to 999 lots, covering services ranging from furniture removal and ethical disposal to temporary accommodation furniture transfer and design and move management. The procurement follows an open procedure with vital dates, including the tender period ending on 23 February 2026. The projects will be delivered in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, under the coordination of The City of Edinburgh Council, which ensures compliance with real Living Wage payments, environmental management, and health and safety standards.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specializing in storage and warehousing, furniture removal, design and relocation services. With an open procedure and multiple lots available, businesses with a strong track record in providing these services, particularly in managing large-scale relocations, and those with the necessary economic and financial standing will find this framework an opportunity for growth. By participating, businesses can secure long-term visibility and collaboration with regional authorities, which could lead to sustained business expansion. Potential bidders will need to demonstrate compliance with rigorous technical and professional criteria, including sustainability practices and financial resilience, to be considered for this lucrative framework.
