## Summary

Brunelcare, a Bristol-based charity, has completed a tender process titled "Fire Door Inspections, Repair and Replacement (Supply and Install)" for its estate. The contract, starting 5th January 2026 for a term of three years, was awarded through an open procedure. The procurement's primary aim is to ensure compliance and safety by overseeing the inspection, repair, and replacement of fire doors across various Brunelcare properties. With an estimated contract value of £1,417,000, this initiative focuses on maintaining high safety standards in housing and care facilities located in the South West of the United Kingdom. The procurement has been managed by Shared Services for Housing Limited, while Bell Group Ltd has been selected as the supplier.

This tender presents significant business opportunities, particularly for those in the construction and maintenance sectors, focusing on fire safety and compliance services. Companies equipped to handle large-scale inspection and construction projects, especially those familiar with the requirements of frail elder housing, would find this opportunity particularly beneficial. By participating in such projects, businesses not only stabilize a regular work pipeline but also enhance their portfolio with high-value clientele. SMEs with expertise in construction works, especially in refurbishing and maintaining residential estates under safety compliance mandates, could greatly benefit from both the immediate work and long-term association with a reputable entity like Brunelcare.
