## Summary

The Department for Work & Pensions has awarded a contract to Reed Learning Limited for the provision of occupational health training services specifically targeting line managers within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This procurement, which falls under education and training services and is categorised as 'light touch services' according to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, was executed via a call-off under the Crown Commercial Services RM6219 Learning and Training Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The award stage is currently active, having been signed on 4th December 2025. The procurement process followed a selective and restricted procedure, with the value of services amounting to £1 million GBP, covering regions across the UK. The Department aims to leverage this initiative to enhance workplace adjustments and employee retention by empowering line managers with essential skills in occupational health.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in training services, particularly those with expertise in management and staff training. The focus on SMEs implies that companies offering tailored or scalable training solutions for these enterprises are likely to fare well. Businesses adept at developing training models that incorporate early intervention strategies and health condition management would benefit from engaging in such competitive bidding processes. Participation in upcoming tenders through the DPS, particularly in the pre-market engagement session scheduled for 18th September 2025, could provide potential suppliers with invaluable insights into evolving market requirements. Suppliers already registered on the RM6219 Learning and Training Services DPS stand to gain by accessing detailed tender documents expected in October 2025, facilitating strategic planning and proposal development for subsequent procurement phases.
