## Summary

The Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) has initiated an open tender process seeking suppliers for its "DWP Mobile Frontline Vehicles" project. This procurement, under the services category, involves the provision and maintenance of mobile office vehicles to enhance DWP's community engagement across Great Britain, including England, Wales, and Scotland. The primary objective is to supply up to four suppliers with a total of 12 fully equipped mobile office vehicles. With a procurement value of approximately £1.6 million, the contract's initial term extends until 31 March 2026, with potential extensions up to 2028. The tender stage is currently active, with the submission deadline set for 6 October 2025. Interested parties must submit their tenders electronically via DWP's e-procurement portal.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities, particularly for companies specialising in the design, supply, and maintenance of commercial vehicles, especially those experienced in fleet management and mobile vehicle configurations. Enterprises proficient in delivering high-quality vehicle fit-outs and maintenance services are well-suited to compete. Given the requirement for vehicles that meet stringent legal standards and facilitate quick deployment and minimal downtime, those with robust repair networks and sustainability practices aligning with governmental social value criteria may find an additional competitive edge. The innovative project invites providers to contribute towards improving public service infrastructure while potentially expanding their business footprint across the UK's public sector.
