## Summary

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is in the planning stage of a public procurement process titled "Jobs and Economic Transformation Programme Pakistan (JETPAK)". This initiative aims to foster economic transformation in Pakistan by enhancing productivity, attracting investment, and boosting exports across high-growth sectors. Classified under foreign economic-aid-related services, the programme will be developed over seven years and involves targeted support to organisations such as banks and industry associations. An Early Market Engagement (EME) event is scheduled for Thursday, 2nd October, to gather market feedback. Although this is still in the planning phase, further notice is expected by 1st January 2026.

JETPAK presents significant opportunities for businesses capable of providing technical assistance and innovative solutions in the fields of economic transformation and export enhancement. Medium to large firms, local consultancies offering standards and business support services, and organisations interested in mobilising investments and improving financing offers in high-growth sectors are well-positioned to contribute. Participation in the upcoming EME event will enable businesses to influence the programme's design and demonstrate their capability in providing the required services, paving the way for future collaboration with the FCDO.
