## Summary

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is currently in the tender stage of a procurement process for the supply and delivery of vehicle spares and parts for its fleet of ambulances and related vehicles. The process follows an open procurement method and falls under the goods category, aimed at serving several counties in the East of England. The deadline for tender submissions is scheduled for 15th October 2025, with the enquiry period closing on 6th October 2025. The awarded contract will commence on 10th February 2026, with a potential total duration extending to February 2031, inclusive of renewal options. The anticipated contract value is set at £19,000,000, reflecting the significant scale of services required across the region’s 7,500 square miles of mixed urban, coastal, and rural areas.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses that specialise in the automotive supply sector, particularly those capable of delivering high-quality OEM or equivalent and aftermarket vehicle parts and consumables efficiently. The contract involves regular, bi-daily deliveries to multiple workshops and make-ready hubs, highlighting the need for robust logistics and supply chain capabilities. SMEs and VCSEs are considered suitable due to the tender's open procedure, promoting competitive participation irrespective of company size. With a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness, businesses that can provide stock management solutions and ensure consistent supply will find this contract highly favourable for growth and partnership.
