## Summary

The Single Source Regulations Office (SSRO), a central government public authority located at 100 Parliament Street, London, is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for Security and Information Risk Advisor (SIRA) services. This market engagement exercise, announced on 18th September 2025, is designed to gather insights from potential suppliers regarding the provision and support of SIRA services. Interested parties have until 13th October 2025 to submit their responses, with further analysis planned during November and December 2025. The Request for Information (RFI) is expected to inform the final specification and strategy for a formal tender that may follow. These services fall under the industry categories of information technology services and systems consultancy services, with delivery focused within the United Kingdom (UKI region).

This RFI presents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in IT and systems consultancy, especially those with expertise in security and information risk management. The process is particularly promising for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) given the nature of the engagement and the potential for shaping future service models. Participation in this RFI provides a platform for suppliers to showcase their capabilities and establish a dialogue with the SSRO, potentially influencing the upcoming procurement approach that could result in long-term contracts. The engagement is also an excellent chance for businesses to align their offerings with the government's needs, thereby enhancing their market presence and fostering growth through public sector contracts.
