## Summary

The Wolverhampton Children's and Young People's Activity Programme, managed by Wolverhampton City Council, focuses on providing community-based physical activities for children and young people. Located in Wolverhampton, UK, the programme aims to improve physical activity levels through free activities such as skateboarding, snooker, and dance. The tender has progressed to the award stage, with Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation securing the contract to deliver Part B of the programme starting from April 2026 until March 2027, with potential extensions up to 2030 depending on funding availability. This initiative follows the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 and embraces an open below-threshold competition method, emphasizing improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities across the region.

This tender creates substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social work services, especially those focusing on youth engagement and community health improvement. With a budget of £340,000, businesses that excel in integrating, collaborating, and service sustainability are well-positioned to benefit. Companies that can deliver innovative solutions aligned with the programme's objectives, particularly those engaging with fairly and less active youth and those with special educational needs, are encouraged to participate. This contract, with possibilities for renewal and extensive delivery requirements, offers a robust platform for growth and community impact for small and medium enterprises, including voluntary, community, and social enterprises in the region.
