## Summary

The Ministry of Defence in the United Kingdom is undertaking a procurement process under the Defence and Security regime to award a contract titled "B.O 2 Award for services" related to information technology services. This process involves prototype and development services for a sensitive project, aiming to produce a minimum viable product (MVP) for testing its viability for scaling and further development. The procurement method applied is a direct award based on national security grounds per the Procurement Act 2023. The contract period begins on 13th October 2025 and runs until 31st March 2026, with a scheduled milestone for future signature due on 1st October 2025. The awarded supplier is MONTVIEUX LIMITED, a small to medium enterprise (SME) based in Bath, United Kingdom.

This tender represents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in developing novel goods or services, especially those with capabilities in sensitive information technology services and prototyping. As the project is classified as Official Sensitive, businesses that possess the requisite expertise and security clearance will be well-placed to compete for similar upcoming opportunities. The direct award methodology highlights the need for specialised services in national security, making it an attractive prospect for SMEs that are looking to expand their portfolios or enter the defence sector. With the Ministry of Defence as the contracting authority, participants are assured of engaging in projects crucial for national interests and potentially fostering long-term growth and partnerships within this sector.
