The Compass Head radar is owned and operated by NATS Services Limited; the radar has passed it's operational life expectancy and HIAL is currently undertaking procurements that will provide a replacement so that NATS may decommission the radar. Due to internal restructuring and lack of resources, it has become necessary to re-contract with NATS to provide continued maintenance for the radar for a further 2 years whilst the replacement radar is sourced and installed. This notice serves as a record of the award of that extension without prior competition
