## Summary

Devon County Council has concluded a procurement process to select a Comprehensive Accreditation Service Provider (CASP) for managing and verifying contractor accreditations related to construction, building, and property maintenance contracts under various frameworks such as the Devon Maintenance Panel Agreement and the Public Rights Of Way (PROW) Framework. This contract, won by QUIDOS LIMITED, is valued at an indicative £1,063,206 over a four-year period starting from 1st February 2026, with potential extensions until 31st January 2034. The procurement process followed an open procedure, with the tender initially announced in September 2025 and the final contract signed on 18th December 2025. The procurement aims to ensure contractors adhere to essential standards like Health and Safety and trade accreditations, across numerous public bodies in Devon and Somerset.

This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities, particularly for organisations specialising in compliance, accreditation services, and health & safety management. Businesses operating within the software and information systems, health & safety services, and business services sectors are particularly well-suited to benefit. The contract also highlights opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with Devon County Council emphasising the need for a service provider capable of integrating accreditation checks into database solutions. With the open procedure approach, SMEs with expertise in these areas can effectively participate and potentially contribute to a wide array of public sector projects.
