### Procurement Information

The reason for a non-competitive award due to technical reasons is that confirmation was received in December 2024 from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) at the Airports UK Security Meeting, that there is only one DfT approved supplier in the UK that provides a combined QA testing and training package - Redline Assured Security. The HIAL Procurement Team investigated and were able to confirm that Redline Assured Security are the only local supplier that could be found via online searches who provide quality assurance testing services and are also named on the CAA list of approved training providers.
