## Summary

The Tees Valley Combined Authority has initiated an amendment to a current contract titled "Our Ordinary is Extraordinary: Murals, markers and stories that matter," focused on the public art sector in Darlington, UK (region UKC13). Initially aligned with the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the contract's end date has now been extended from 31 March 2026 to 30 June 2026, due to unforeseen changes. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in community engagement, heritage conservation, and creativity sectors. It specifically offers avenues for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) to engage in high-quality public art projects, leveraging community storytelling and public engagement. The project aims to create inclusive and impactful creative outcomes, making it ideal for businesses with expertise in cultural and heritage objectives. Additionally, the procurement method and open procedure allow for a wider range of businesses to participate, fostering potential collaboration and long-term growth aligned with the Tees Valley Heritage Strategy.
